Re: Is anyone doing menu cards?

I decided against it. The waiter/waitress still has to walk around and take the order and it doesnt take that long to say 'fish, beef, chicken, veal, duck or vegetarian'. It was an expense I didnt want to incur but to each their own.

Re: Is anyone doing menu cards?

I was thinking of printing them on my own. I think it would speed up the process, especially if you have more than 3 choices? My problem is I haven't found a nice blank card.

you can always do a nice design on blank nice paper if you cant find any nice blank cards... most of my menus were printed on either white card stock, or resume paper that we got at staples!

Go to Michaels and ask them for Anna Griffin menu cards. They are very nice and sleek. You can use them to print your menu and you can purchase the liitle rosette and put them on the menu cards to give it an edge.

I was at Michael's yesterday and I didn't find menu cards. Would they be at the wedding section?

Re: Is anyone doing menu cards?

My hall provides them- I don't love them but they'll do. I would have done them myself, I think, just so everyone can see their choices to think about it before the waiter gets there. I have 7 dishes for them to choose from so I think it's needed! If you have 3 I think you can save yourself the money- that's what I would do anyway!!

Mine are included from catering hall. I am going to give them one of the monograms Christine made for me to have placed at the top.

Re: Is anyone doing menu cards?

I'm working with a girl on theknot.com that is doing ours for like $.50 each which I think is totally reasonable. I normally wouldn't care too much about something like menus, but it's just an extra touch and it's not going to break the bank.
