Bad Wedding Dream!! - Update - I had a second one last night!
I had a very vivid bad wedding dream last night. What I remember was we were being introduced as husband and wife at the reception. I was wearing a white strapless gown and my hair was longer than what I have now. It was half up and wavy. (BTW, I haven't selected a dress or hairstyle as of yet)
Fast forward to a bit later in the reception --- hardly anyone had shown up and I was panicking!!!!
For some reason I was then back at my home with my wedding dress trying to figure out what was going on. My cousin from California was there (without his wife) and my aunt and uncle - and they were all wearing very casual outfits - like workout clothes. One of them had my invite which was postmarked September 29th and my RSVP date was March 3rd. (My actual wedding date in 12/09) - in my dreamland it was like as if my RSVP date was only a couple of days after the date posmarked on the envelope.
So I started to panic thinking that people just didn't have enough time to respond and didn't have enough time to keep my wedding date open or maybe didn't even receive the invite yet. So I started calling people from my home phone sobbing hysterically -- and then I woke up with tears streming down my face.
AND I WAS SO RELIEVED IT WAS JUST A DREAM!
My wedding is almost a year away - I don't want to start having these nightmares yet

Re: Bad Wedding Dream!!
Welcome to the club of wedding nightmares. I had one the other night too. Usually it is the same thing I forgot to make an appt to get my hair done, my bm had no dresses nobody shows up and the DJ is horrible. All I can think is this is not the way it is suppose to be. Then I wake up and I am just thankful it was all a dream.

I've had them also. It's the same recurring dream....that my wedding dress isn't ready and I'm an hour late to the wedding. I guess it's not the worst case scenario, but still scary.

Re: Bad Wedding Dream!!
I had a second one last night!!!!This time, I was at a catering hall checking out the room. I had already booked my hall, the Marina Del Rey, but I must have had second thoughts because I had come to this new catering hall to give it a second look and book it. However, I must have decided that it wasn't better than what I had already booked, but the BM there was trying to pick dates to get me to book the place.
My sister and one of my cousins was there and they told me the reason I had wanted to switch my catering hall was because I had told them that this new place had a better cocktail hour. At that point, I realized that I really liked where I originally booked much better. But, I was panicking because I had thought that I already cancelled my date with MDR and they may have given it to someone else - so I would have to push back my wedding.
I called MDR and spoke to my BM all in a frenzy and asked him to check my date to see if I had cancelled or not because I couldn't remember. My BM has a great sense of humor, so he was playing around with me and wouldn't tell me right away. But finally he told me that I hadn't cancelled and I still had the date and room I wanted reserved.
I woke up SO RELIEVED!
What's up with these dreams?

It's probably just your worries in the back of your mind that everything won't go off exactly as planned. I seem to have them everytime I have a conversation with someone about the wedding I go home that night and have a dream. Just think the more horrible dreams you have the more wonderful your big day will seem.
