Will your invite colors and scheme match your favor tags/placecards/labels

I might end up with invites that are different from the colors I wanted to use on my favor tags and stuff. does that matter to you (I am afraid it may matter too much to me)

If I could afford it.. I would incorporate the colors of the day into the invites... but since they won't be seen together, I will do the invites plain ivory and then all the day of stuff in the coordinating colors

my invites are ivory
my colors are green peach and pink (but subtle)
i dont think it matters at all

my friend had purple invites and her theme was
red and silver

do you think anyone cared or noticed? nope!

You're in the very peak of wedding planning breakdown mode doll...I'm there just not fessing it up on the boards and bombarding you guys with FM's....

I will tell you this, and I mean it...as a fellow bride, I WON'T NOTICE...let alone family members that are just happy to see the two of you getting married...they wouldn't care if they showed up and there were no favors or centerpieces...they're there for you and Leo, and maybe the food and cocktails...everything else - is b/c you want it.

I would like to note however that i would not be nearly this NUTS if we weren't doing EVERY SINGLE F_ING THING custom

it's like my mom always says...my eyes are bigger than my stomach (but in this case my ideas are lofty, my patience nonexistant)

Chris, you are right but THAT is the kicker...I WILL notice and it will bother me to NO END! I am the girl that wants to get out of the car on the highway to straighten out some guys hood ornament (God, I hate when they are crooked!)

Mine kind of sort of match. I don't think you have OCD - I think that you just want things to look a certain way and I can understand that.

Nah...not really. I'm still not set on my color scheme so don't feel bad Jess. I don't think they'll end up matching though.

My invites will be matching the scheme of things, but I'm not going to go crazy with the favor tags or anything. If I can order the same matching stuff from the same place I'm getting my invites, great, but I won't drive myself crazy over it because I know no one will really notice.

yes, because
a. we are designing them ourselves, and having them printed for next to nothing.

b. I love paper products and that sort of thing, so its a big deal to me.

My invites are ivory. My colors are red (claret) and jewel tones. I don't think anyone is going to notice that my invites don't match my color scheme...

Mine are ivory with gold lettering. My colors are burgundy, pink and green.

Yes, but I didn't mean for it too!!!

My colors are navy blue, silver and white. My invites are white with navy blue printing. To be honest I really don't think people will care if the invites match your color scheme. They are there for you and FH, to share in your special day. Not to notice if everything matches!! Relax sweetie, you're gonna have a nervous breakdown with all this stress!!!

The invites match the place cards and thats it. The liners of my invites are gold and maybe some teeny tiny things are accented in gold. But my BM dresses are navy and my flowers are in the blue and purple family. I'm not one for matching everything. After a while, it starts to look too cutsey to me. Sorry. JMO.

Mine match for pretty much the same reason. My invites, menus, table numbers, etc. are all DIY, so it was easy to just use the same cardstocks for everything. I am a bit of paper snob, so my paper product colors all match - including the white outer envelopes matching the white RSVP envelope. Just my own little brand of OCD.

The red of my invites HAPPENS to exactly match the color of the dress that my MOH picked. She (my entire BP) picked the color, I would have picked black.

Jess - I'm right there with you on the OCD stuff. FH picked out the most beautiful invites yesterday, and my problem is that they are ecru, not white. I can't get them in white and it is making me crazy, but I want him to be happy, so I'm trying to relax.

The one good thing is that I can get the ink and the inner envelope liner in burgandy (the color my girls are wearing). However, everything else is either pure white or silver, not an off-white, ivory, or ecru thing to be found anywhere else. It's making me nuts, but the invites are sooooooo beautiful.
