Re: Honeymoon Question for Sept. Brides!?!?
I asked this same question the other day. Seems most brides go to Aruba since it is under the huricane belt. I still wanna try to go to Mexico.

Re: Honeymoon Question for Sept. Brides!?!?
IF YOU WANT TO GO TO MEXICO, GO TO THE PACIFIC SIDE. THEY DO NOT GET AS MUCH RAIN. TRY ALCAPULCO OR IXTAPA. I'VE TO BOTH. OF THE TWO I WOULD RECOMMEND IXTAPA.

I am really thinking about Mexico because i looked up secrets excellence and it looks fabu! And the price is exactly what I am looking for. Hey I will just get insurance, If I know they have a hurricane I will settle for Punta Cana.
Nina you are more than welcome to crash!

Re: Honeymoon Question for Sept. Brides!?!?
I looooove Mexico!!!I've only been to Cancun and Acapulco......but I love it. And its relatively inexpensive compared to other places. If you actually go into the cities and not the touristy parts...you can get amazing pottery and jewelery for dirt cheap!!
Girl you know I'm crashing your honeymoon!!

Re: Honeymoon Question for Sept. Brides!?!?
It is hurricane season in Mexico-- on both the atlantic and pacific sides. Playa del Carmen and Xcaret are great places outside Cancun that I've been to, but don't forget how devistated they were after the last hurricane. We want to go on our HM right after so we're more than likely going to go to Hawaii.

Re: Honeymoon Question for Sept. Brides!?!?
I am getting married in September as well and am doing the same search! Right now we are thinking Hawaii, Curacao or Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo. The West coast of Mexico is considered in the hurricane area??? I didn't know that! Anyone know anything about Curacao? I have been to Aruba so we are not thinking about there.

Re: Honeymoon Question for Sept. Brides!?!?
DH and I went to Greece (Athens, Rhodes, Crete, and Santorini). September is a great time to go there. The weather is warm, but not too hot, and it's not as touristy as it is in the summer. The islands are beautiful and the food is great. Santorini is one of the most beautiful and romantic places I've ever been to. I highly recommend going there.Welcome New Vendors
