Need Clery suggs. for Interfaith Jewish/Catholic Ceremony

We need help! Anyone have any suggestions on Clergy for an Interfaith Catholic/Jewish ceremony? We have booked the ceremony for Villa Lombardi's and would like to have it outside weather permitting. We would also like to follow all the "rules" so that I am considered married in the Catholic Church and my FI in the Jewish Faith. Does anyone know where I can start or have any suggestions? Thanks.

We are using Father Gervais (516) 483-3784 and Rabbi Applestone (516) 541-1004. However, we've been told that it will not be recognized in the church. Hope this is a start.

My suggestions as an Interfaith couple...

I'm taking it for granted that you'reCatholic ,Protestant, Lutherian. You will need to complete Pre Cana sessions as part of the marriage being recognized by the Church. I attended one set up specifically for Inter Faith Couples. Took place at St Thomas the Apostle in the Rockville Center Parish in LI. Got married at Fox Hollow and received suggestions from the staff there. Then recieved the despensation to marry a member outside the Catholic religion. ( MY hubby is Jewish) Our priest was Monsiegneur Lisante. He suggested Rabbis. We had Rabbi David Forman. I am trying to find the Rabbi's number. Anyone else hear of this Rabbi and may have his number?? pls email me THANKS and good luck

I have the BEST Rabbi/Priest tag team and . . .

it is recognized by the Catholic Church as my sacrament of marriage. Rabbi Jerry Heller and Father Jerry Heiner. The Rabbi is the contact person and his number is 914-624-1691 - he's great! Good luck!

Answer for Stephsal

They are located in Rockland County. I am getting married in Westchester and my friend who used them got married in Manhattan. They said that they have done weddings on LI so I am sure it wouldn't be a problem. Good luck!
