Photography/Videography Quotes for '07

I am about to start meeting with photographers/videographers this week for my wedding in August 2007 and I was wondering for those of you who have already started doing this, what price quotes you were getting from different vendors??

We purposely did photo and video before 06 for our 2007 wedding to get the 05 prices. We succeeded in doing so. I know most prices went up a few hundred bucks.

They tend to overcharge...I went to a bunch of photography places, and they seemed to charge more for a package of the two, than the video people seperate.

it can vary depending on waht you want...more enlargements...albums....but it ranges from 3000-5000 combo pckg.....i'm doing my together....jsut b/c its one less vendor to deal with...and since they already work with one another...they hopefully wont get in each others way.....

I used ProLine and they were a bit pricey. I paid $6500 but I upgraded my package and also got a digital album.

I can't believe how much they charge! I'm trying to stay on kinda a tight budget..but it seems impossible!! Thanks for everyone's input..It really helps!

You should try to get video and photo from the same place. This way you know that they work well together and won't get into each other's way. The combo package at ADA was about $5700. I got a very similar package from Duet for much less.

Check out Video Expess Productions... I got a great photo package (all the typical things plus some extras) AND video for $3500. He does AMAZING work!! I had seen a few other photographers, but just was blown away by his video. His photo about the same as others I had looked at.
