Officially have a maid of honor
SO, I asked my cousin to be my MOH today. I was going to make her a nice poem like I have seen on here but she is a doctor living in NYC so its hard to get together and make plans. She came home the other day because my aunt (her mom) had a small medical emergency. I live with her parents. Anyway, my cousin and I went to get groceries and run errands for my aunt. When we got back we were hanging out in the kitchen. Earlier that day I showed her a BM dress that I love and she loved it too. SHe obviously knew she was in the wedding party. I said, "Im so happy you like the bridemaid dress - the maid of honor has to like her dress." She was so vey excited and so was I. It was a nice moment and picking her as my maid of honor was such an easy decision. Just wanted to share!

Re: Officially have a maid of honor
As for the rest of the bridal party (besides FH's sisters) I am not comitting until it gets closer to the wedding. I have a little less that two years and figure I will decide between several friends when it gets closer. Family will always be around which is why my cousin and future sister in laws were perfect choices. I adore my FSIL's by the way.
