My Bachelorette Party Was Last Night! (PICS)

My Bachelorette Party Was Last Night! (PICS)

I knew when it was. I knew it would be Manhattan. I also knew it would be low-key. That was my request and my BP, friends and family delivered. There was a group of about 10 people.

First, we all traveled into the city via LIRR (or subway) so nobody had to drive - very important ladies!

We were walking from Penn Station to the restaurant and stopped along the way to pick up a very very necessary TIARA (not the tiara I am wearing for the wedding, but we improvised. (BTW- I have taken to wearing this in the house now - just an FYI!)

Inside the bag were many items. There were soaps and lotions, chocolate, mini bonbel cheeses, a mini fondue set, make up, pads and pens, sexy dice etc, but my FAVORITE item inside was:
THE MOUSEPAD AUTOGRAPHED BY MEMBERS OF DURAN DURAN!!! (granted it was written to my MOH but I WAS SO EXCITED)

My Matron of H knows me well so she made arrangements for everyone to meet up at DIP - the fondue restaurant where we dined on melted chocolate, CHEESE and many other tasty delights!


As I looked deeper into MY goodie bag, I found one more KEEPER:


Here are an assortment of the personalized bags everyone got - my Maid of H knows me just as well too!






And why I am getting married AFTER football season 'the semi-finals before the big game':


From there, I thought it would be fun to do something I never did before which was karaoke. So we all walked over from DIP to CHORUS - A karaoke bar not too far away. We sang everything but I have to say that doing a duet of 'I'll Be There for You' by Bon Jovi was the crowning jewel of the night since she is their manager. She sang Richie's part, I sang Jon's. Then, after the song was over, I held up my hands like a ROCKIN '06er and yelled 'GOOD NIGHT NEW JERSEY!!!'



Though choosing songs was hard I have to say. For example, I love THIS guy PILL COLLINS!

My MOH and I had a load of fun just finding spelling errors in the song list book.

All in all I have to say it was a great night. After a long stretch of misfortune and being emotionally exhausted, I really needed a night out. I didn't need the strippers. I didnt need to get pi$$ drunk. I had my sisters, my BP, my cousins and my friends and I had cheese. It was a great night!

Wow, it looks like your BP really went all out and really made your bachelorette party special. Glad you had fun and I love the t-sirt!
