Photographer and Video

Does anybody know a good Photographer and Video. That is not that expensive.
I went to Duet this week and We didn't understand what the guy was saying.

For Video - Timeless Treasures is great, I haven't had my wedding yet but I was very impressed with Ray. As for photog. there's definitely other options out there. We're using Spelman, but I met with Leli, Velevet Studios, and a few others that seemed fine. If you search on here, Patken seems to be popular as well.

Patken is great -thats who I am using. But I feel they are on the pricey side (JMO).

we tried patken also, i thought there prices were pretty comperable.

Silver Fox in Mineola or Glenmar they were very reasonable you get to build your own package

For video I defintely recommend Wild Rose Video. They are great.

my final decision was between Leli and Duet... we choose Leli for both photo and video...

if you want someone that does both photo and video, try velvet studio or leli photography.

Pete from Wedding Cinema. He's located in Islip (by the airport) and he's great. $1100 for 3 dvd's, 7 hours of coverage, editing, music, highlight section and my favorite part... he'll let you view the video when he's 90% finished so if you don't like something, he'll change it right then.

Fine Art is in Jericho, off Jericho Tpke. Jimmy and Patty are both really nice and do great work.

Just make sure that if they give you a time limit, that it fits the amount of time you need from them. my guys are coming at 11am and our reception isnt over till 11pm, and they were fine

i second pete! he gives the best deal for the least amount of money.

leli and silverfox have great prices for photography. i chose leli because i liked his work best, but i was torn between the 2.
