I wish I was more creative but this is the extent of my DIY talent:
1. monogram caketopper
2. I DO letters
3. Tiffany Blue cardbox (not sure about this yet)
4. personalized menus
5. collages of FH & me for placecard table

if any of u have started to make anything pease post pics

You have to try and do the Tiffany card box! I think that would be awesome!
I am going to attempt to make the monogram cake topper! I will probably make the menus and place cards too!

I am not crafty at all. I would like to do the slipper basket. I am going to wrap my own favors. I have to try to come up with a nice idea for that. I want to come up with an idea for seating cards. But I need to find the one.

I'd like to make as much of my own stuff as possible... I don't know exactly what yet, but I've been tossing around ideas.

My things I definitely want to make myself (if I do them at all):
1. tiara
2. veil (or I'd be adapting my mom's veil)
3. wish bowl/guest book (haven't decided which yet)
4. memory candles/table stuff
5. ceremony programs

Things I've been thinking about doing myself:
1. Invitations
2. Favors
3. Jewelry for the bridesmaids
4. chuppah
5. other kinds of decorative things, for the seating card table or around the guest book/wish bowl, etc.
6. Cardbox.

I'm sure more will pop up as I go, it's still pretty early in the planning. I don't plan on doing things like the slipper basket or personalized menus, but if I did do them I would make those myself as well. My hall provides menus and seating cards, so I don't need to worry about things like that.

I wish I could get started, but it feels way to early to me! I don't want to start making things and then in a year decide I want a whole different color scheme!

You probably know my theme is gonna be tiffany blue/acqua so i thought a cute thing to do to sorta incorporate the theme a little more is to make this tiffany box for the wedding envelopes at the end of the night. when the guests come to say goodnight and gove us their gift we'll just put it in the tiffany box. The only reason i'm reconsidering it is because i think my theme is switching a lil. still in the blue family but not quite tiffany blue

well after i went to visit with the florist he showed me how he can make my roses in a ice blue color which i loved and that totally would clash with the tiffany blue because it's a bluish green. and my centerpieces are ivory roses with light blue hydrangeas so again the tiffany blue color wouldn't really match so now i'm thinking of having the BM's in a paler blue so they match with their flowers...i just hope i don't change my mind again

Did you ask the florist abt the spraypainting the color on the tips of the roses?

I'm sure they can do it because they're spraypainting my entire rose so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to spraypaint just the tip and the color is gorgeous! Do u have a florist in mind yet?

Yes - I do have a florist - I believe its called Flowers by Henry - he did the flowers for my sisters wedding - and did an AMAZING job! (He is in Brooklyn - I believe around 18th Ave and 86th St) every since my sisters wedding her in-laws have been using him for weddings - and his work always leaves an impression ... I havent booked him yet - but my mom passed by one day - and told him that i was going to use him ... what florist did you book?
