Re: brazilian bikini wax?

I heard this place does sugar wax which some how is a little better

http://www.aquavitaespa.com/

Sugar Hair Removal

Our professionally trained Estheticians are certified for the Sugar Wax Hair Removal Treatment, which makes hair removal a lot less painful and irritating than regular wax.

With the Brazilian Bikini, hair is removed from the entire pubic region, except for a small patch just above the vaginal area. This includes the labia and the buttocks. Of course, you're the boss of your bikini, so you tell us exactly how much you want to remove, and in what shape.

Our success relies on our experienced staff, and in our sugaring technique that provides the closest possible waxing without any concerns for burning or tearing of the skin that happens with regular waxes.

If you, like many women, like a clean, close wax and the freedom to wear even the most revealing swimwear and lingerie, then you'll be in love with a Brazilian bikini. Relax, it's not nearly as painful as it sounds, and the end result will leave you hooked on your new bikini style.

This painless technique dated to the times of the pharaohs in ancient Egypt is the safest, most sanitary, and most painless way to go when it comes to removing unwanted hair. No messy mesclun strips or sharing of wax with the community.

I agree.
The first time usually hurts the most....
But after that its not bad at all.
Way worth it IMO

Well if My FSIL can do it 8 months pregnant ANYONE CAN!

I do it too. I mean I am not going to lie it hurts! But you suck it up and do it. It is WELL worth doing

I use Alexan Day Spa in Seaford.

PS for those waiting to do it just b4 their wedding If u have time start now once every 4 weeks....B/c the very first time you are not used to it and i can get irritated. If u start now your skin will get used to the waxing...

Re: brazilian bikini wax?

I highly recommend Jadore Day Spa in NYC. They are located on Madison Ave. It is only $28 for a brazilian and it is totally worth it.

Feel free to FM me for more info.

How long before the hair grows back? Does it slow down the growth more times you get it?

Re: brazilian bikini wax?

I thought about doing this for my wedding. I figured I give my FH a little surprise. But I don't know how comfortable I feel dropping my pants infront of a stranger and showing them my business.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Re: brazilian bikini wax?

I have had it done several times. I have come to the conclusion that I prefer to at least having a "landing strip" instead of the totally bare brazillian.

You can't be shy about it. At some point you will be lying there without any underwear and with at least one leg up in the air.

I always kid my FH that the lady doing the wax should at least ask my name and buy me a drink before asking me to take my underwear off.

I hear that taking an anti inflammatory about one hour before helps with the pain. I have never done this though.

BTW it lasted for about 3-5 weeks. Very much worth it for the summer or your honeymoon.

oooh, I work not too far from there. I am totally going to try it next week! That'll give me 4 months before the wedding (or 4 times, I guess to have it done).

Been wanting to do it for a while. A tad shy...but what the heck!

Re: brazilian bikini wax?

I really want to do it, but I am so shy and self conscious about that whole area. I guess the women who do it are so use to it that they don't even care. It is probably just another bikin wax to them.

Go for it. It really only hurts the first time. You will love the way it is after you do it. Make sure you go to some one reprabule. (spelt wrong)
