Buying selling a house

My FH and I decided to buy a 2-family house with my mom since she is all alone. Only problem is we can't sell hers for some odd reason!!! I am FREAKING out because I just found out the house we're in contract with just told us he can't wait anymore and is going back on the market. Of course I already gave landlord notcie. So ladies, dont count chickies before they hatch.
I understand and all but it *****. My moms is a PERFECT 2 bedroom starter house with a rentable APT. It's a little small, in Rocky point but we priced accordingly at only $309,990!!!!!! (we started at 335)

I don't get it!

Re: Buying selling a house

i'm a realtor and i just looked it up on the realtors MLS and it says you just listed yesterday. were you FSBO at first? hough and guidice is a good realtor. they should be able to sell that for you and quickly since its the only house in rocky pt under $310k.

i'll pass the listing around at my office tomorrow to see if the suffolk agents have any buyers for it.

Re: Buying selling a house

Thank you. No we just fropped the price and reworded a couple of things. For the record, H&G is not that good, and it has been listed since NOV. I only signed the listing agreement in DEC. But thats beside the point. Please, someone buy this house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Buying selling a house

It is definitely a buyer's market right now. As interests rates are going up (which they have sigmificantly in the last couple of months), it is getting more difficult to get the same high prices for houses that you could have gotten 6 mths to a year ago. Good luck! The only good news if you don't get THIS house (as perfect as it may seem), is that it is a buyer's market and prices don't look like they will be going up soon.
