Re: Place Cards, any ideas???
My place cards will be my favor tags on my favors, and will be lined up like they are below (the picture is from Brideget&Jimmy's website).I'm having someone do them for me... printed out on the computer. The name of the table (different languages of love) will be written in script in the background, and the guest information will be in bolder, capital print over it.

Re: Place Cards, any ideas???
I bought place cards from Michaels. You can design them on the computer and then print them out! Sounds easy right? Haven't tackled it yet!

Re: Place Cards, any ideas???
My FH is designing the placecards, menu and table numbers. He's going to put a subtle flower in the background (plumeria) with the name and the table number printed over it in the same font/font color we used for the invites.
I just went to Michael's yesterday and bought a ton of 'embellishments' to use on the menus (mostly flowers, some butterflies), special scissors that cut shapes instead of straight lines, tons of 12 x 12 sheets of different cardstock, colored vellum, and glue!
Since my FH expressed an interest in making a scrapbook after the wedding, I thought that all this stuff wouldn't go to waste anyway.
Once we have a sample of each, I'll post it in the DIY section. You might want to check there too, for ideas.

I bought colored cardstock, (i used green to practice but it will be burgundy) cut it to the right size and folded it in half. Then I bought Avery labels from staples. downloaded the template, printed them out and stuck them on the cardstock, see...
