Christams day is for my Family too and for Fh it is Christams Eve!!! That works well for us and splitting holidays.

Both days are big in my family - Christmas eve we spend with my moms family and christmas day we spend with my dads. FH's family, Christmas day is bigger and since I am closer with my mom's family, it works out for us to split the holiday as well!

It used to be Christmas Eve but now we go out to a restaurant and my mom cooks on Christmas. I prefer Christmas Eve less stress.

christmas day WAS huge in my family but for some reason everyone started going to their in laws for that day - i think so they wouldnt miss all the fish on christmas eve

so now i guess it is christmas eve but i have been at FILs for christmas eve for the past 6 years so my family has all teh fun without me
