need opinions-- red and purple theme?

hi,
I started looking at bm dresses and this combo caught my eye....i was originally looking for a sort of dark blue/ teal dresses but as my moh tried on dresses we saw these combos....

is that too weird red and purple? the dresses below I would like in red w/ accent in purple....

I'm wondering what kind of flowers would my bms carry?!....

I am also attaching a pic of 'Backinneyork' center piece...do you think I could so something similar ina bouqet? would it clash with the bm dresses?

Personally I think the colors look great. when i read your post i was like red and purple - yuk, but seeing it it looks so good. Go for it, its very different.

I think its GORGEOUS! All 3 dresses are just beautiful! As for flowers, Id have them carry something SIMPLE with not alot of color in it.. Maybe you can switch the typical bo-k's... instead of BM's with colorful bo-k's and you with a white/ivory bo-k, give BMs the ivory bo-k's and you use a red/purple bo-k? Just a thought!

I really like the 2nd Aand 3rd Dresses. There is nothing wrong with your color. Though those dont look like purple more like a wine color. They are beautriful. Im not sure about your flower arrangements maybe ask the ladies from Flower Michelle I've read good things about them!

Those colors look gorgeous together. I really like the second dress. I think red roses will look nice with that color combination.

OH- another idea- if you'd use ivory bo-k's for the BMs, maybe throw in 1 red or purple rose. I loooove bo-k's with that 1 rose to splash color into it!

I do think it would be too much for a bo-k and excellent for a cp. Ask Flower Michelle what he would use to compliment it.

CP are BEAUTIFUL!!! DEFINATLY GO FOR IT! but not for bo-k, that's a little too much color i think!

Only thing with the Flowers, I would maybe go more towards the cream colors and bring the purple & red in here and there. Don't want to over do it with the color IMO

Red and purple flowers look amazing together. I was just in a wedding with this combination.

I think it is very different and REALLY pretty! I would also go with a simple bo -k with a splash of either red or purple like someone else mentioned. Very nice idea....good luck!!
