It happened!!! I am finally ENGAGED!!!! (with hopefully working pics)

So it finally happened. One of those days a lil girl dreams about all her life (well at least I did). The day the man of my dreams asked me to marry him!!!! It was awesome. We went on vacation down to his grandfather's house in tampa for 2 days, and then left for a 7 day cruise out of tampa to cozumel, grand cayman, costa maya, and belize!!! It was a really good time.

So it was the last formal night at dinner, and we were just eating, and everything was normal. Now our table was half booth and half chairs, and the first half of the week we sat in the chairs, so the second half we were going to sit in the booth. So I went to climb into the booth, and he was like no let's sit over here. I really didn't argue, cause I didn't care, but knowing the reason it's really cute now!!! So he was standing up a lot, but he was kind of sea sick and said that when he stood he felt better. (He really was sea sick our boat rocked a lot and it bothered his tummy) So we eat, blah blah, and it's time for dessert. Now we were right next to the service station, so he was kind of standing behind me a bit. Next thing I know he comes around from behind me, gets down on one knee with a cake in front of me that says Will you marry me? and the ring was stuck inside.

So he actually says will you marry me, and I just choked up, starting shaking, and my eyes welled up. But there wasn't enough time for me to cry b/c before I knew it I was saying 'What do you think?' 'Of course I will' and then I realized for it to be official I had to say 'Yes.' So then everyone applauded and he looked at me and said ok go ahead it's yours. And everyone yellled, put it on her. So I wanted pics of it in the cake, so I had to stop him from grabbing the ring.

Then he took it out, sucked the icing off (how romantic) cleaned it up, and slipped it on my finger.

Then all of the staff came over and sang Happy Engagement to us (to the happy birthday theme) which was adorable and just so special!!!! It was just too cute, and perfect...and now I am ENGAGED!!!!!!!!

Now there are a few funny lil things that went with this. We actually flew down to Florida on Friday, and his father and step-mother came on Sat. He didn't know how to get it down there without checking it in his bag (that had liquids and couldn't go on the plane) or keep it in his pockets. He knows I am nosey as hell and if he had a carry on I would have gone through it not even for snooping, just b/c I want to put my stuff in, and his pockets I would have felt it. So his step mother wore it on the way down and gave it to him Sat night when we were all at his grandfathers. Now when they went in the room to give it to him, I thought they had closed him in the bedroom to tell him we shouldn't be sleeping in teh same room (we were both crashing on the living room floor) but when i asked him he told me he wasn't even in the bedroom and didn't know what I was talking about. Then on tuesday night he was pretty sick and went back to the room half way through dinner. When I got back he needed to take his contacts out and everything so I told him I would get him his glasses out of his bag for him. I actually said a couple times during the week I would get stuff out of the bag, and he just kept saying no I'll get it, don't worry, just relax. I just keep thinking about all of these little things that I normally do, but he kept doing all week, so I wouldn't find the ring in his bag. I didn't think much of it though b/c we were on vacation, so I was in relax mode!!!

I love hearing the story from you, when Mikey told me he of course didn't go in to detail!!
