I need advice....my wedding is Nov. 23 the day after Thanksgiving. Should I set my theme around the fall or winter??? Not sure what to do. What do you girls think?

That's a hard one you can definately go both ways...the colors are similar for that time of year...I l love the fall though!!! Good luck with your decision.

Re: theme question???
I feel that it is totally up to you. I decided to have a autumn wedding but that is because I wanted to have an autumn wedding in the 1st place and be-cause I love the autumn.
If I did a winter wedding the theme would be icicles. I would have aqua blue, white, and silver as the theme colors. Everyone would need to wear UGGS. Since your feet need to be comfortable and warm during the winter.
We wish you best wishes on your wedding and if you have any other questions FM me.

Re: theme question???
Like another bride mentioned, call the RH and see if it will be decorated for Christmas when your reception takes place. If they do it almost kind of forces you to go with a holiday or winter theme.
If it's not decorated for Christmas the choice is really up to you. Decide what colors you like best. For fall you can go with burnt orange, chocolate browns, dark blues, gold, shades of red. For winter you can also go with shades of red and gold but also ice blues or silver.
What ever you choose I am sure it will be beautiful

Re: theme question???
I would say it would depend on what theme your hall will have up, if any. I know most places put their Christmas decorations up the day after T-giving, so you should definitely check with them on what their time table is (make sure their decorating schedule won't interfere with your own wedding's set up time!) and then make a decision from there. But I do think you could go either way!

Re: theme question???
You could really go either way. If it was me I would base it on how the hall will be decorated. They may have it set up for Christmas allready and then I would want a winter theme, but that is just me. I do have to say I am partial to a Fall theme though because that is what I am doing. Well either way it is your day and whatever you choose will be great.

Re: theme question???
I agree--check with RH. I know ours starts decorating for holidays that weekend. A florist was telling me one of her brides was wanted fall flowers and her RH had snowflakes and winter decor everywhere the day of the wedding.

Re: theme question???
I think you can do both. I would get ideas for fall and winter and see which one you like better.
