My day as a LI Weddings TV Model W/ Pics and Review

Today was the day where I was filmed as a LI Weddings TV.com PLUS SIZE Bride Model!
For a little back history,,, LI Weddings selected me to be a Bride for their upcoming segment about Plus Size Brides.

I had a GREAT time at BRIDAL ELEGANCE today with Phyllis picking out and trying on multiple gowns. Phyllis was amazing, she really is easy to work with. I tried on alot of gowns but we narrowed it down to 3 diffrent styles to put on the show. I found out that I am a big fan of the corset type dresses, with the lace up in the back. Phyllis explained the functions of some diffrent under garments and also the IMPORTANCE of having the right garments no matter what your size is. She also gave me options such as cap sleeves, shoes, necklace, or boleros and jackets.

I also had my hair done by SHERRY and makeup done by PATRICIA of Sherry's Hair Designs.
They work wonders!!! I was told to come in with dry hair and no make up,,, as you will see in the first picture! ((YIKES)) and as the next couple of pictures show you I was all fixed up into bridal bliss! Patricia gave me some great tips on skin care for preparation now for the wedding. Also on picking out lipstick and what / how to freshen up the look on the big day. Sherry was able to work quickly giving me a great style and explained how she could change the look to suit what ever dress I might want. She also told me about hair extentions and how to use diffrent options like jewels in your hair and tiara's.

Maria the host of LI Weddings.TV was with me all day fiming with Tom their camera man. Little known fact,, you can find him lurking,, he is a LI weddings Groom and was featured on 'Who's wedding is it anyway'.

I had such a WONDERFUL time and left there feeling like a million bucks! I am not sure when it will air, but it will be a few weeks~ It was like a trial run with hair, make up and the dress!!! I am even more excited about planning the big day!

Yea I am a BIG fan of Dress 1 and 3.. totally diffrent styles and colors but soo pretty!

awwwww kim you look so pretty!! i LOVE that third dress, it looks so good on you. you really look so cute in every picture, like you were really having fun!!

Thank you ladies!!!
It was hard to see in these pics, but dress 3 is actually Chamagne colored. We tried it with the removable caplet sleeves and a matching viel.
