Picked up my E-pics!!! Come see Duet's work!

My schedule cleared up yesterday so I was able to go out to LI to pick up my epic proofs with my mom!!!

Here they are!!! I got 77 printed proofs (also on CD). The only thing is that Eric had told us we'd get only a certain # of the pics printed, but we'd get *all* of them on CD.., we didn't get the rest of the pics on our CD. I emailed them so hopefully they can make me the full CD for Tuesday - there are some pics I remember taking that I would really like to see (and possibly use for my wedding projects).

YESENIAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! OMG my jaw dropped- STUNNING. Jay is the MASTER! You look gorgeous! The compostion of his pictures- just unbelievable. This is why I love DUET, people!

But you had to ruin it with Mets jerseys. Just teasin'. We're gonna wear our Yankee jerseys. Not sure if we'll go with matching or if FH will wear his batting practice blue Giambi and I'll wear my pinstripe OR batting practice Jeter....

LOVE THEM! I'm so excited for you!!!! You should bring them in person to the GTG!!

Tara, I was totally expecting a comment from you about our Mets jerseys!!!! LOL. I surprised my FH wih his Jersey on that day and I had asked who his favorite current player is and it happened to be Reyes, so we ended up with matching jerseys... oh well. I will be using e-pics as our table numbers, so this pic can be the one for Table 7

I think JAY IS AMAZING!!!! The lighting and overall composition of the pics is wonderful! The only thing that I'm a bit not-happy about is the rest of the pics which we don't have on the CD. I'm sure they printed the best ones, but Jay took over 200 pics and I was looking forward to a few poses etc., which weren't chosen to be printed.

But hopefully that will be resolved... Overall I love them! Can't wait to see yours!!!!

I was looking at your album and saw the pic of your ring- and it freaked me out- I gotta get my nails done! I have no idea when the heck I'll have the time to do that before Wednesday!!

Tara, DEFINITELY get your nails done... I just kept thinking how high res the pics would be and how ugly my hands would look if I went with them like I usually do! I did my nails the night before.

The shoot was just under two hours. I told him of about 5 spots that I would really like to take pics and he added others. Make sure you wear comfy shoes!!! I originally wanted to wear pretty heels instead of my espadrilles, but thank God I didn't! My feet were killing me by the end of the shoot.

I've never had my nails done. What kind of girl am I? A piano player! But we have the GTG Tuesday night!! Maybe I can get to city early and find a nail salon and get them done quickly before we meet up? Any recommendations? Somehow I doubt it...I would imagine most city girls get them done in their neighborhoods...

I am gonna HATE having nails when I have to play the piano at work!! Maybe I should get a nice manicure? Or really short tips that won't affect my playing?

Never? Wow! It's ok, I don't think you need tips for the epics at all. I think a nice regular manicure with a pretty pink semi-sheer color would translate very vell on your pics at CP!!!

I actually do my nails (well, when I get them done) at a salon on 56th between 5th and 6th Aves (closer to 6th Ave) - close to my job. It's called Lily's Nails and it has a blue awning - you go up the stairs to the second floor. They have the BEST prices!!! $8 for a regular manicure, $11 for a french manicure! Many of the Miss USA's go there! You could go before our GTG on Tuesday. Maybe call them for an appt so you don't have to wait when you arrive? I can give you the # if you want - I have it at work.

Yesenia, you're the best! I could always look it up - I'm good at that stuff. Thanks! Those are GREAT prices, and it's a great location! I'm gonna be driving in from NJ but parking in Queens (i'm a big baby and can't drive in the city ).

Those pics under the arches blow my mind! Can't wait to get some similar shots! I am also hoping Sam will be into taking pics around Stawberry Fields since I'm such a huge Beatles/ John Lennon fan.
