Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

Hey Ladies!

My good friend is going to Walt Disney World on her honeymoon! Please post restaurants and places they should go and see! I know we have many WDW brides here!

I recommended Victoria and Alberts and then for a casual meal, Spoodles - which I love!

I am also trying to think of things to do within Disney world, perhaps at the different resorts - other than the parks (which she knows about)

Thanks!

Nina

I ditto the luau-delicious! Also, there’s Pleasure Island, but I don’t know off the top of my head what’s there…I’m actually going to Disney World tomorrow so I’ll look around! I’m SO excited—haven’t been in forever!

Re: Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

I will recommend my favorite, Coral Reef Restaurant, which is in Epcot. There is a big glass window that allows you to see their underwater man-made coral reef. The food is awesome. It is not quiet, but very cozy with great service.

Re: Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

My all time favorate is the sci fi dine in at MGM, I cant take a trip there without having one meal there.

If looking for character dining, go based on the character looking for the food is usually similar between the character restraunts, I usually go to crystal palace with pooh and pals.

Re: Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

Narcosses in Grand Floridian is sooooooooooo good! We went there 2x...Go at about 8:30P and request a table by the window to see the Fireworks that are done at Cinderellas Castle

Also...dinner at Cinderellas castle..We didn't get to do this but I remember it from when I went with my family

Grand Floridian Cafe is AWESOME! We had so many meals there since we were in the GF...it's casual and soooo good!

DO NOT go to 50's Prime Time Cafe for dinner ONLY lunch. Dinner was disgusting! Lunch was great!

Re: Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

just came back from disney world!! lol. i go every year and am trying to bump that up to twice a year!!

have dinner at the hoop dee doo revue.. it does'nt sound like much but it is FUNNY!! it made my 18 yr old brother and his 17 yr old girlfriend laugh outloud!! and u know teenagers don't think ANYTHING is funny..

i am goign to the luau next time.. oh and the crystal palace is a must!! best thing bout it in addition that salmon (can u say delish?) is the fact that the characters come round to every table, so u dont have to stand in a long line to get a picture with them!!

oh and i hear that the restaurant BOMA's at the African Wilderness Lodge is amazing.. def visit the hotel's while u're there. tehy are phenomenal.. the african wilderness lodge has a savana outside whee they have zebras and giraffes and wilderbeasts..

oh and if u go make sure u collect and trade pins! i picked up all of the wedding related pins.. well actually a lady who was thereo n her anniversary gave me her wedding pin when i mentioned i was getting married!!

oh and downtown disney at night over the bridge is strictly adult night life.. great drinks and clubs..
tell ur' friend to ENJOY!!

great decision for honeymoon.. i wanna go there so badly for mine. lol.

Re: Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

Definitly eat at the 50's diner in MGM... the food is amazing & the setting is hysterical! The waitresses act as if the were your 'mother' and will not serve you dessert unless you eat your vegatables!

Down Town Disney is awesome.... the comedy club is hysterical...

I have also always wanted to visit the Broadwalk... it looks so nice... you can take the ferry there

Re: Walt Disney World Honeymoon?

I went there a year ago and we ate at two nice places. The Steakhouse in the Contemporary resort and my steak was very good! And we ate at Fultons in Downtown Disney and I had seafood and i remember it also being very good! I hear that the Restaurant in japan in Epcot is lots of fun and also good! I have to say that the food in Disney is better than I expected!!
