Why did you pick your wedding date?
Not sure if I've seen this question asked..So why did you & FH pick your day?
We picked 7/14 because 7/7 was already taken
Me being an 8/8/80 girl..I tend to be superstitious like that

we loved the way 10/7/07 sounded, and it is the sunday before columbus day - cheaper for a reception and most people have off the next day!

It was available.We actually wanted the Labor Day weekend (August 31st or September 1st, which is FH's b-day), but they were already booked.
I never thought I'd be a Summer bride!

I wanted 10/20/07 because of they way it is written it looks like 10/2007......... But I fell in love with my RH and they didn't have that date so I went with the next week.......10/27/07

it kinda narrowed itself down- 1st we knew we wanted late Sept- Oct
- then I x'd out weekends that I'd have my period (LOL)
- X'd out Sept. 22nd because my BIL is Jewish
- corssed aout another week because FH has a changeover at at theatre in Westchester
that left us with the 13th and the 20th - we found out the 13th was peak leaf season so we chose that

FH and I share a bday and our bday fell on a Saturday, so that's why we picked Nov. 3rd - we'll celebrate our birthday's and wedding day!!!

I wanted October and he wanted June...then I said September and he said July.We then finally compromised and went with August and the 4th was the only day open.

I wanted a summer wedding, but I wanted it in June, but since my family could not make it, we had to pick the first weekend when they were able to come, which was July 1st.From there on we have my parents anneversary July 4th, my aunts wedding anneversary July 9th, my grandpa's bday July 7th and my Grandma's bday July 11th.

We wanted July because it worked with our work schedules best, Then went with a Friday since it was cheaper -Then finally decided on Friday the 13th because vendors would definitely be available!!

We wanted sometime in October but we couldn't get our officiants (one is out of state) so we picked the closest we could get.

Since my parents are no longer with us, we really wanted an October wedding, since their anniversary was on Halloween. Also, my mom's birthday was October 8th and we figured having our wedding the day before her birthday would be like having them their with us. Also, Sunday afternoons are the least expensive and we figured since it is Columbus day weekend people would have off on Monday.

I couldn't do 7/7/07 because my friend had already taken that day, so we went with the next Saturday available at my church...7/28/07
