I can't wait to get home from work & post the ?? in my notebook. I do have some that aren't answered yet though....[/QUOTE

do you remember some of your questions?

I'm racking my brain trying to remember.. I'm home in like 2 hours though - so i keep trying to chill out about it...but i'm a very, NOW NOW NOW NOW type personality...

I know i wanted to know if they do menus and if i could have a sample of the placecard & menu if they do them.

I wanted to find out about bringing in a new cake...

ok , i think for the cake , if you get your own , they will give you a certain amount of credit towards it.

im pretty sure they give menus because when we were booking he said this is what they will look like.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

some of my questions were......

1)how heavy can the cake topper be???

2) make sure my CP is not too big for the tables.. therefore either ask, or measure on my own.

Q. Are candles permitted?
A. Yes - but not open flames - they have to be in a holder.

Q. What colors are available for tablecloths?
A. Several - you can go in and look any time you want or wait for your menu meeting. I went in and saw that they had the basic colors. A nice red, blue, cream, forest green, etc.

Wait a second!! No open flames?!? Uh-Oh. My centerpiece setup contains two large pillar candles, they are on a coaster thingy but the flame is exposed?? Is that not okay now??

Someone else asked me that - i think a phone call has to be made on that one... Their exact wording was no open flame. That much I am positive about....but that could mean a few things!

Anyone know if they offer infused vodkas?

Had this at another wedding and I am dying to add it to ours - maybe it is on the upgrade list?

I just asked them - she said they don't have any policy regarding candles and that pillars definately don't need to be in holders. I think it was just a receptionist though....

I know when we were waiting for my parents to arrive - we were chatting with the bartender in the restaurant - VERY NICE GUY BTW....

He said that they can get in anything you want. Now - keep in mind i don't know if that costs more - but he did tell us that!

Q: What tips are not included in the contract?

A: The banquet manager and the bridal attendant are usually given an additional tip.

BTW - I love the Fox Hollow and can't wait to be married there.

i think its the matre d, and bridal attendant.. honestly i wont even tip the BM if your supposed to.. he gets enough comission for the booking

We dont even have one so Im not going to just choose one at random to tip.

Jess - you can bring in a cake. I asked my BM (maybe I asked Ron, not sure who ... ) about my sister making the cake since she is a pastry chef, and they said, sure, why not? I don't think she's going to make mine, but we have talked about her making a small grooms' cake (a beer glass, FH is obsessed with different types of beer and trying them all, etc).

I'd like to know what they look like too. I haven't asked but I saw a picture on the Fox Hollow Thread and it had the logo which wasn't so pretty.

A. Once you hit your minimum - they are 1/3 off.

Q. Vendors cost?
A. Their vendors are free(almost positive) - other vendors - once you hit your minimum are 1/3 off.

Hey Melissas28

What do the placecards and menus look like that they give you?

Do they provide directional cards? If so, how many?

Jess, oh my god you have no idea. Mine is truly obsessed. You should get Dave DRAFT magazine. It's all about different beers and is actually a very cool magazine. Last month Randy Quaid was on the cover and there is a whole article about how much he likes beer, etc.

** We have a bar in the backyard that FH built. It has running water, a built-in BBQ and A TAP. We actually have THREE fridges back there. Thank god utilities are included in our rent!!!
