Grooms tux with survery...

Okay so we went to Tuxedo Park in Carle Place...BTW.... great customer service....

Well we found some dark brown/chocolate tuxes, very nice, good quality, best we've seen so far.

Only problem is that they're a little pricey, we didn't expect it tobe so high...
Tux, shoes, tie...$240

Is that too much to ask? I feel like the girls spend a lot why should the guys be let off easy.
On the other hand, I know it's a lot and people have other responsibilities.

Just want to hear thoughts, ideas, any other places that rent chocolate tuxes for less.

Re: Grooms tux with survery...

i don't know what to say about the price, but i wanted to say that a friend of ours got married recently and they got their chocolate tuxes from Tuxedo Park and they were gorgeous. I've never seen/heard so many people talk about tuxedos at a wedding before.
Whatever it cost them, it was definitely worth it for that you know?

They are GORGEOUS!!! The quality is 10 times better than other places, instead of those shiny plastic shoes (no offense if you like them..... great) they get leather shoes..the tuxes are Ralph Lauren I think

Re: Grooms tux with survery...

they must have been designer tuxes

FH liked a CK tux but it was $250 to rent. He got the CK, but for the guys we got tuxedo parks own designer wool tuxes for rent that were $175 complete.

We got black- idk if they have the brown in their tuxes

You can get rentals as low as $100, but you realy get what you pay for.

Tuxedo park rents newer tuxes and also all wool which ar nicer.

for $240 you can probably buy them at syms

Re: Grooms tux with survery...

You said it yourself. You LOVE them. From what I've seen the rentals average around 200 so it isn' that much more. What does FH think?

He loved them too and said he didn't feel as stiff as the other tuxes he's tried. he really liked the shoes, they're the first comfy pair
