Need ideas for a New Year's Eve theme outfit

My FH and I are going to a party tonight and the theme is to come 'funky (whatever that means to you)'. I have been too busy with the new house and car hunting (mine was totaled) to even think about what FH and I should wear. I don't want a full costume, just a little something fun! HELP...does anyone have any ideas?!?!

funky to me means something 70's. But they might mean something very in-style. Ooh, a sexy leather outfit

Bold colors or big sleeves/pants. Do you have bell bottom type pants. Perhaps a piece of jewelry, big and bold, to add to your outfit. Platform shoes ... ? .. hmm ... I'll keep thinking for you!
