Re: After Party????? ROYALTON??? All Brides Welcome
I attended a wedding there in October, and the bride had an after-party there - I believe it was from 12-2am - they used the room where the cocktail hour was. Are you looking for specific information? FM me.

Re: After Party????? ROYALTON??? All Brides Welcome
my daughter had her wedding during the day and we had the after party at the hotel (La Quinta). They didn't have a liquor liscense then may have one now but we brought in liquor and ordered Pizza and stayed in the area where all tables and chairs were. It worked out great.

Re: After Party????? ROYALTON??? All Brides Welcome
I'm having an after party at the royalton. It's from 11-12:30. We are getting a dj for it and the royalton is going to serve late night snacks and stuff, haven't figured out the food. I don't know how much extra it is costing. I'm excited b/c I think after the band, guests will be psyched for a DJ.

Re: After Party????? ROYALTON??? All Brides Welcome
mine is a Sunday evening wedding ending at 11, I don't think we're going to do after hours because I think people will want to leave because of work in the morning. FH thinks some of his friends will want to stay. Do you think we could make the deicison that night?

we're getting married on a sunday as well. i think most people will take off the next day. i kind of torn. i know i have plenty of time to decide. i dont know if you can decide the night...? gerard also said that you can add an hour onto the reception, i guess id have to speak with the entertainment and make sure they can stay and ask how much $$, ahhh also video and photo.

I'm not planning on having one... I feel like a change of scenery might be a good thing, I'm just making sure the hotel we put everyone at has a bar that will stay open for us.Plus there's an extra fee for the afterparty

I'm not having one either, mostly because there's no more room in our budget for it, but also because my wedding will be over at 1am and I think that is pretty late as is (well at least for me, I seem to go to bed by 11pm these days!!!)
We are having our OOT guests stay at the Inn at Great Neck and Friday night after the rehersal dinner, we are planning an after party there. For $500 the hotel will keep their bar open for you until 3am and give you $300 of that money back in 'open bar.' Not a bad deal!
