My RD!
Last night was my RD!
It was so great. When we first got to the church I was nervous and my stomach was KILLING ME i have the worst nervous stomach I hope it doesn't bother me on the wedding day. But anyway, we practiced the procession two times, the readers read a few lines and then our witnesses signed our marriage license and we will sign it on the day of. Our Deacon was really nice and really took charge.
Then the dinner was at O Lavrador which is a Portugese restaurant. The food was great and our family and friends had a great time! Everyone loved their gifts which I can fully post now LOL
I got the BMs pink pashminas and heart diamond necklaces. The FGs got white fur capes, headbands, a barbie and a pink locket. The GM got a money clip and FH paid for their tuxes. Our readers got liquor bottles. The BM got a watch.
Our parents got frames that we had engraved with "Thank you only begins to say what's in our hearts today. All our Love, Anthony and Matilde"
The grandparents got frames that said "All our Love, Anthony and Matilde"
I had a great time and it made me a lot less nervous for the wedding!!!! I am so ready now and excited and more calm and relaxed than I have been! I am still a little nervous about the weather or about getting sick but overall FH and I are excited that our day is ONE WEEK AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only regret was that I didn't get a little something for the kids that weren't in the BP - my niece Cecilia was so sad when she saw the Barbies so now I will have to buy her something ridiculous to make up for it! LOL

The gifts you got for everyone sound really nice. And I've been to O Lavrador, I love that place.

it was really a great time! tilde im so honored 2 be a part of ur day
ive known tilde for 20 yrs and i remember the first day she told me that she even thought anthony was cute LOL so being there thru their 10 YEAR relationship and seein this day come is sooo great... i cant wait till next week!! love ya tilde
