What's New With Debismom and Debi and..........

Hi everyone!!!!!!! Debi has a 3rd BM, Lucy. The BM Gowns have been ordered and are suppose to be in about April. Debi's FG got her dress at David's Bridal, recently, and took it home, no alterations necessary. At Christmastime, Debi presented Jackie with a FG Book and sparkly hair comb to wear in the wedding. The tuxes will be ordered soon, this month. They will be black suits, white satin vests and ties, and white shirts. They will be from MW TUX, new name for After Hours/Mens Warehouse. Debi and Fred plan Feb. e-pics locally, so they can announce their engagement in the Long Island and Lancaster papers. Formal e-pics, part of their Thomas Paul package are scheduled for May 22nd, in Long Island. I think they'll try for the beach again, but have a backup plan in case of rain. Their video of how they met, etc., is planned for April, at Planting Field Arboretum. Beverly, Fred's Mom, bought her gown. It's a two piece, teal, with "some sparkles", with three quarter length sleeves. I called Sugarplums and Tea, today, and I think we'll be having Debi's Shower there. Their new facility will open in the next week or so. Paul told me he'll send me a brochure. My only concern is that we can fit 25 people into the room, if need be. Tea places aren't made for large groups of people. Debi want's a beach theme. One tea place gal I spoke to, suggested catering it at my Church's beautiful patio, but somehow I couldn't wrap myself around the idea of a lingerie clothesline, flying in the breeze, so close to the Pastor's office!!!! As soon as Debi decides which favors, etc. I'll let you know! I put pics in my album of the Starfish coordinates Debi wants, as well as the wreaths. Ladies, let me know how your planning is going!! Chrissy had a beach theme as well. Her review is under 06 brides. She is dbleplay17. I am sorry I can't remember how to send you that ...but you can see her beachy theme at CLM.

See you are going to Sugarplums. They have a large selection but I would also check out My daughters Wedding Three. They are in Great Neck and have dresses from $150 and up. My friend just bought her dress there and it looked like a $3000 dress and she only paid $450. They were very very helpful.

Sounds like things are progressing nicely, Mary. Mary I paid only $325.00 for my gown which I thought was phenomonal amount considering I paid $550. for my gown for Michael's wedding in 2003. I went to Doris Fashions in Brooklyn on 18th Avenue & 68th Street. Nina's mom got her gown there too as well as her sister and my sister in law. You may want to keep them in mind too.

Sounds like things are progressing nicely, Mary. Mary I paid only $325.00 for my gown which I thought was phenomonal amount considering I paid $550. for my gown for Michael's wedding in 2003. I went to Doris Fashions in Brooklyn on 18th Avenue & 68th Street. Nina's mom got her gown there too as well as her sister and my sister in law. You may want to keep them in mind too.

Thanks, Liz!! I really am clueless, well almost, about where to go for the gown. I'm afraid Debi will be too busy to go with me. Donna said she would help me.

do more of the STD's. They still have some to do, because of lack of addresses.Mary
