My Persian Cat needs a GOOD groomer
Hey Girls - I am just to overwhelmed to bath my cat! Her hair is driving me nuts -she got so bad only this past winter with mats! I am looking for a good groomer located in Suffolk county. It would be even more 'ideal' if anyone knows of someone that travels to the home.
I am loosing patience with her and the comb! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: My Persian Cat needs a GOOD groomer
My cat also gets matted sometimes. I am not in your area to know of a good groomer, but I can tell you something that works for me. I use a product on my horses called Show Sheen, it is made by Absorbine, and you can find it online. It is a hair polish and prevents tangles and knots, even on the cat!! I have had great luck using it on him. I bathe him every few weeks and spritz it on him before he is dry. I used to have to shave the matts off him but not anymore.

OMG mine is horrible too! He bawls and cries and growls. You would think he is getting murdered. It is not a one person job
Don't they want to be fluffy and beautiful

Lol cats are so bad! I understand they key is to start them early on when they are kittens and bath them regularly or they will turn into nightmares!
I got lazy after awhile , cause I hated the long hours w/the blowdryer - it not only stressed the cat out but it stresses me out!
The pill worked pretty darn good thou - now she is all fluffy again
Most groomers hate taking cats too-- hum I wonder why????
