On the BHB board ... and I thought it was just a holiday thing! Wow ... very touchy, gloves are off & the cat-fights have started!

I don't get it. A few months back we didn't have this many problems, or maybe we did and didn't realize it? But I would think that the problems would have followed us to this board. Honestly I don't understand nor do I want to. I just don't want that starting up here.

It 's exactly what I was thinking. The reason I started posting was b/c everyone was so helpful & nice. I'm glad it's not like that here!

Now consider the fact that many of those brides will come over to this side at some point, I say we have a no fighting and being childish rule on this side.

I think sometimes people take things so seriously and then make it into a really major case....making 3 & 4 post out of unecessary stuff.

Michelle it never was that way when we were planning. SOme threads got hot, but nothing like I have seen lately, its like a maturity thing or people just going along to cause more drama than is even necessary

I think all the silly controversy has finally cured me of visiting the BHB board...that, and the baby started crawling. I don't even bother with them unless I want to tell them about a Wedding show or something they might want to watch.

I think they just have too many new people and some choose to make everything more about competition than community.
I'm glad we have each other here on Newlyweds.

I think there are some new girls as a result of the prizes at the GTG. All of a sudden there are over 100 girls coming? I think if the prizes werent announced before hand, there would only be 30 or so hardcore addicts :D

While i'd love to win a prize, Im certainly not going to the GTG/participating on this board for some prize.

I am not a newlywed yet, but I have been on these boards for over a year (just don't post too much) and I think the climate on the BHB board is definitely different.

I don't find the BHB board as helpful as I used to, but maybe that is because I have planned a lot already. I definitely think there are a lot more fights.

Hopefully I do not get flamed for saying any of this. But I look forward to joining the calmer side.

I think its because there have been a lot of new brides lately. It seems a lot calmer on this side.

Who was it that said everything over there is competition now. It sure is. Also people are asking questions they really do no want answers to. Also there are all of a sudden a lot of new people on that side.
