*Someone needs to explain what Happened*

I am going to take it upon myself to try to make this as drama free as possible.

For those of you who are confused...

Some of the girls on the board felt the need to start a new board to post on because there was a lot of drama going on here a few months ago. According to them, they wanted a place to come to post about different wedding things, vent, and also talk about things that were personal and didn't want to talk about on here.

In the process, these girls became good friends and began hanging out and doing things together. People have accused them of being a clique. The board was by invite only and they started to post DFZ (for Drama Free Zone) to promote no drama on the original LIW that we all love.

As time progressed posts ranting about the content of the boards here started up bashing general ideas and threads as well as specific people. A lot of people participated in these boards, but just as many didn't or tried to difuse the situation.

Around noon or so someone posted a link to the website informing all of us. The initial thread and a couple of the response threads were taken down by Kim to try to keep the peace. As a lot of arguing ensued and many of the girls were hurt. The board where all the bashing took place was also taken down, so none of the links work and you cannot find it or any of the posts anymore. Some of the information was saved, but the girls who have saved the quotes have not yet posted anything.

The 09ers Shower was canceled as a response to so many people pulling out of the shower after feeling hurt or being hurt by the secret boards. Some of the people (both guilty and innocent) are also deleting their accounts on here as well.

This thread is just to inform people of this and I will not tolerate drama on here! Please do not post nasty things, post positive things only.

I agree that it is totally not fair. I think it is petty and horrible and I'm hurt by all of this even though I didn't see anything about me on there. I just think that we shouldn't let what happened THERE ruin what happens HERE.

If you have a problem with something someone said about you. Don't fight about it here, FM that person. Let's be adults from now on.

great explanation.
i feel like i keep posting this on ALL the threads that are created and then deleted.
I was a part of the other board (as u can see i have DFZ under my name). my main reason for posting on there was to vent about PERSONAL things that i did not feel comfortable posting here. i do not condone talking behind peoples back and although everyone has a right to their opinion, some things (especially bashing) should be kept to themselves.
but i am right here and anyone can feel free to FM me about anything i posted.

wow i didn't check out the boards till now and i'm shocked all i gotta say is if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all!!!

and if anyoine was talking about me i would like to know it's very childish to talk about people behind their backs especially behind a computer screen

I was not aware of this either. I just come on here to get some great ideas, advice, and talk about wedding stuff in general. People need to just be nice to each other and enjoy this part of our lives that we are going through together.

WOW!!! I just signed on today for the first time and am shocked and what has been going down. I really thought that this was a place where I can come and get away from it all.

I'm sorry - but what are we, 12????????? Creating a 'drama free zone' in the manner that they did is CREATING drama in and of itself. Gimme a break. Sorry, but I need one more....

I didn't call them a clique until after I started reading their board, and yes they were a clique. I also don't believe that that was their original intion that you stated.

I'm just repeated what I read on here. And they were called a clique on here before people found out about it.

Nope, you are wrong. I was the one to call them a clique and that was way after the other board was jumping off. I just knew about it for a little while and decided to read all the nasty things they had to say while trying to think of a way to stop it without causing all this drama...but I guess someone beat me to it.

I thought you were referring to people calling them a clique starting today. I did not realize you had access to the board before today.

This thread is not meant to be an argument. Please don't make it into one. I'm just trying to remain unbiased and keep the information that way too.
