Fleurs de Florissima, Flower Michelle or Atlantic Florists??

So now i am making appointments with florists...does anyone have any opinions good/bad on any of these? Is there anyone in particular I should make an appointment with? My wedding is in October so i feel like i need to book a florist right away but i still have no idea what I want...i don't even know what colors yet...is that a problem?

If you do a search on Flower Michele, you will see alot of fantastic things about them, i had a appointment on Monday, but had to reschedule for next Monday and i amm very excited to meet with John, Florissima i think has mixed reviews on here, i went to see Atlantic, they were ok, but very $$$$ and not so impressive.

I used Florissima for my wedding in August and they were wonderful. I was very happy with the bouquets and corsages that they did for us. They also specially died the dendrobium orchids that the mothers wore to match their dresses, and people just raved about them.

They were wonderful to work with, and were very accomodating to me, even two days before the wedding when I called an asked them to change a few things. Aubert was great, and the staff was very nice.

where they reasonable? What made you choose them over any other florist? They are a recommended vendor for my club.

Florissima was very reasonable. My sister used the for her wedding, and other friends and family of mine had used them for their weddings.

I'm using Flower Michele and my experience with them so far is outstanding. Everything everyone said about them is true...they are wonderful.

Flower michele! I met with Arlene at Fleurissima - I thought she was very nice, she quoted me the same price as Flower Michele, but for not as many flowers/arrangements. IMO Fleurissima has a different style than flower michele - FH thought Florissima was too 'bar-mitza' -ish.

I am booked with Flower Michelle but I have no idea about the other two all i know is John is a great guy and very passionate about what he does.

I went to Fleurs de Florissma and I hated it there. The woman was not nice to my mom and I and not at all helpful. She had no ideas and no suggestions or photos to show me. She said to "just trust' her. Why would I book a vendor without any evidence that they're any good?

Then I went to Flower Michele - John is AMAZING! He had tons of albums to show us and tons of ideas for me. He even made me a sample free of charge and it was still 11 months to my wedding just to put my mind at ease!

I also looked at Florid Affair. They were very nice and had good ideas. I was just worried with the lack of experience and lack of references. The two references they gave me were for weddings that have not occurred - how is that a reference?

I LOVE Flower michele florist!! But I see that you are getting married the same day as me and I'm not sure if its 2 or 3 weddings in Oct he will do on the same day. Wow I can't believe how many other brides on here are getting married on the same day as us! There is at least 3 others I think!

I don't know where you live, but I went to a bunch of florists including Pedastils (which wanted double what i paid) - I ended up going to a florist that my friend had for her wedding - Burton's (in Melville on Rt. 110). They gave me an AMAZING PRICE and I can pick any flowers I want. I hate when you go to other places and they tell you it will cost more for certain flowers. Another hint is don't go to anyone your reception place recommends (if you want to save money) - they increase the price b/c they have to pay a commission.

I used Fleurs de Florissima for my wedding this past October. On the positive side, Aubert, who I dealt with there is extremely creative, and they did beautiful work. He was very patient with me changing my mind a bunch of times. The centerpieces and bouquets were breathtaking. They are a bit expensive, but definitely worth the money. People noticed my flowers. The only thing that worried me was that I wasnt so sure that I was getting the style I was asking for, based on the sample he made for me a couple of weeks beforehand, but on the day of my wedding I was absolutely blown away.
