after the wedding to the hotel..

After the wedding is over, do you wear your wedding dress to the hotel/home? Or change at the reception hall before leaving?

I plan to wear it to the hotel and then change because we are having an after party and I want to be comfortable.

Same here...plus I want to stay in it as long as possible...

I am wearing mine to the hotel and to the after party! I am getting every minute out of my dress that I can....I might even wear it on the plane on the way to my honeymoon!

for every thing we go through to find the dress and get it altered to find the right doj to go with it ect.... we should lol

haven't thought about it, but i am getting married at the fox hollow and staying at the inn at fox hollow, so in my case, i don't think it really matters

We are not going to a hotel so the dress will stay on until we get to the house.

I changed at the recpetion hall into a white juicy suit (after the wedding was over).
I wanted my mom to take home the gound.

I may very well do the same!!! We're have an 8am flight the NEXT MORNING!!! No for us that night!

I wore the dress back to our hotel....didn't come off until DH took it off I did forget to bring a hanger for it though, and had to have my mom bring me the bag and hanger in the morning....I ALSO forgot to bring a bra in my overnight bag to wear to breakfast the next day, and had to have my mom bring one of those too! hahaha....

i wore my dress back to the hotel

when my MOH got married, she changed in the bridal suite.

I plan on wearing my wedding dress on the way home and then again when i go on the plane to my honeymoon and even on the beach!! After spending all that money on my dress i am living in it
