Re: Kosher Catering
Are you looking for a kosher caterer for the wedding - or for a bridal shower? There are quite a few kosher caterers - and kosher restaurants - to choose from. We used Prestige Caterers for our wedding - and the food was great. My sister used Jem - and the food was good too. If you give me a better idea of what your friend is looking for - I may be of better help.

Re: Kosher Catering
Does she want to have her wedding in a temple or in a catering hall that can do a kosher wedding? I would think all of the temples would have kosher food. She can do a search on here, many brides here have been married at temples. For catering halls, I know that the place I got married at, the Carlyle is not a kosher facility, but is able to to have kosher food if you want it.

Re: Kosher Catering
Thank you for everyone's replies!!!Sorry, to clarify, the caterer is needed for the wedding, and it has to be someone with a kosher kitchen (i.e. having one or two dishes brought into a non-kosher hall will not work)

Re: Kosher Catering
IF she is looking for a Kosher temple/facility to have her ceremony/reception in, I HIGHLY recommend Shelter Rock Jewish Center. I was married there in December 2001 and I only have amazing things to say about it. Let me know if you want more details & I'll give you the # there.good luck!
