I love People's Liberation and Sevens (likely because they are long though and I am 5'11'') so I am not too helpful.

I am pretty slim and straight -- not much in the way of hips. I usually wear 7 For All Mankind jeans or Citizens for Humanity -- I find they fit me best. I also like American Eagle jeans, but I prefer the look of the others. Most were bought on sale (nordstrom rack, saks off 5th, century 21) although my favorite pair of citizens was full price at bloomingdales, but i used gift cards i had accumulated.

I used to just buy what was on sale, but I'd rather have a few amazing pairs of jeans than a lot of unflattering jeans I never wanted to wear. Over time I've built up a collection of enough where I can just wear my favorites

As far as length, I usually do find that nicer jeans run long so I have to get them hemmed.

AG also makes Big Star jeans and i have a TON of them-- they fit amazing- you can find them at any macy's or bloomies and they're around $80.
Also Hudson Jeans- they make your butt look Fantastic- so well worth the $180!!!

7s, Paige Denim, and Citizens....they are all way expensive but they are the only jeans that fit me perfectly

I wear AG, 7's, Citzens, but my favorite go to pair are my levi's !

American Eagle. (I'm not a high priced gal.) I'm 5'10" with really long legs and they have the jeans that fit me best. Plus, it seems like they are the only brand that carries flare leg anymore.

I swear by Paper denim and Cloth...I cant really find them in department stores- so I order them cheaper at bluefly.com

citizens and paige, but i just recently bought a pair of AE jeans and they actually fit really well for inexpensive jeans. i liked them because they offer x-long inseams online and being 5'10" i cant wear most of my jeans with heels

My new favorite pair that I practically wear everyday are my Levi Capital E's. Soooo comfortable and they fit perfect.

i have the opposite problem. I'm 5'9 so most times it's nearly impossible to find jeans long enough. I usually get 'em from Pacific Sunwear. I love their style.

I wear whatever fits I can't wear jeans to work (not even on friday) and on Saturdays I'm at my second job and I wear scrubs. Since i only wear them one day a week I dont spend a lot of $$ on them. I buy mine from old navy.

Ann taylor : ) Shes the only one that doesnt vanity size and carries a 00. (besides abercrombie that stretches out!)

I'm short (5'4) and I thought I couldn't wear nice jeans since they're always so long but I recently went shopping and Citizens and Sevens come in shorter lengths now. I'm thrilled to death - definitely worth the investment! Also, Mavi jeans are sort of middle of the road - not too expensive but not cheaply made either - and they come in 30' lengths. I've heard Paige and Joe's come in shorter sizes too but last time I went shopping I didn't see anything I loved.

Also, good jean stores sometimes have an inhouse seamstress that cuts the jeans right before the hem and sews them back that way so you don't lose the look of the jeans at the bottom.

I go to Link NYC. They are awesome!! They really work with you to find a jean you are comfy with.

I usually wear Rock & Republic, Citizens, Denim for Immortality and True Religion. They are a little expensive but well worth the quality.

Don't think I can be much help here.... For as embarrassing as this is is to admit, even after now having a four year old son, I still can't wear jeans nor clothes in general from the women's section lol, I still have to shop for my clothes in the Juniors Section No matter what it is, if I shop for an item in the women's section, it'll be way too big and just hang off of me and not fit me correctly.

lol so now that my secret's out of the bag lol, my jeans are like LEI and Mudd still. I actually bought a few pairs of Jeans off of Sarah Jessica Parker's line at Steve & Barry's, and for as cheap as they are, they fit and look nice.

I'm all legs so it's hard to find jeans that are long enough but fit my hips without being insanely huge and baggy

I do citizens for humanity and seven for all mankind.. i like bebe jeans, but they're usually too long. I love the fits on them all though!

I don’t have skinny jeans but I really like them and I'm considering buying one, but I'm not sure if I'll suit them.
Well, Im 5' 4? (approx.) .. My thighs aren’t huge but are quite big. Do you think I'd suit skinnys?
