Some Pro Pics

Some of you know I am not thrilled with my pics, I spent a few days editing some of them through Picnik...and after going through them over and over maybe they aren't as bad as I thought but just not what I wanted style wise and didn't think I should have to edit them to get them to be what I wanted...but what can you do!

M*I*A I know you aren't thrilled with them, but I think they are awesome.
I do agree that you shouldn't have to edit them, but I believe the photographers don't retouch proofs really. I also remember you saying something about the blue sky being white...I had a photographer (the only one) explain that it always appears white it's the way the camera sees it (or something like that) but that they could fix it after.

I hope you are happier with them. I will say I wasn't thrilled with mine when I saw them on their website but when I got the CD and looked at them, I changed my mind and I pretty much love all of my pictures. I was pretty shocked though that I had to ask for certain pictures that I felt should be standard but apparently not.

You had a beautiful wedding and gorgeous weather, don't let anything take away from that.

they look great! i think they are good, they just are probably not what you thought they would look like, i know sometimes i expect to look a certain way or have a picture look a certain way and then its totally different....all of the ones you posted look great to me!

I am glad you are starting to come around on them. I know me personally I have to keep telling myself not to expect too much because I have a habit of thinking pictures should be magazine ads when I get them back and then I a dispointed when they aren't (does that make sense).

Anyway -- you looked beautiful and you and Joe look so happy -- that is all that matters!

Thanks girls, I guess I just expected more in a way, I thought I would get them all edited and done. I will have to work with them!

Of these posted you have some really cute shots. My friend just went through the same thing, were she wasn't happy at first but the more she went through them she realized they weren't as bad as she thought. I love the last one. It's so cute and fun! You were a gorgeous bride and always will be, even if your pictures didn't reflect it the way you wanted. If I could buy you day after pics I would!!!!!!!!

I felt the same way about mine,,,but I think it was b/c I was looking at everyone else's. No one can get EVERY pic done its impossible, there were some I wish I had but I looked over them again, with the two extra cd's they gave me (not the edit cd which was all the ones they choose) and I found so many more that I liked. I was really surprised they left certain ones out that I thought came out really good. Anyway, your pics look really gorgeous!! Seriously, I love that group shot too, you look flawless!

i know you aren't too happy but i think that you look gorgeous and the one's you have posted look great!!! I totally understand how u feel though and you def. shouldn't have to edit them to be happy!!!!
But it def. seems like they got some great shots!!!!!

The pics are beautiful! I don't think you should be editing them. Definitely talk to the photographer about that...maybe they just provide you with un-touched proofs.

I hope you feel better about them though.
