FH is going to get a nice surprise **Update**

I have had it! I love FH so so much but when it comes to common sense he is completely lacking in the department. Anyhow, my point is... I just put his car for sale on Craigslist.

How much trouble am I going to be in?

I really dont even care. When we moved in together I took over the finances and let me tell you this kid has alot of debt. Most of MY paycheck goes to his bills and it pisses me off. I make twice as much as him yet I can't spend the money on myself because Im busy paying our mortgage then all of his stupid bills. I love him so I accept it and I made a plan where it will be all paid off in a year or two. Well.. the genius went ahead and borrowed 22k from his uncle about 6 months ago to get a brand new, gas sucking pickup truck and has yet to pay him even 1 cent back!!!! We just dont have the extra money right now with this wedding... Next year after the wedding if I manage to save 22k I want that for a house!! not to pay back his stupid truck. My car right now is about to die and I need a new one and I cant even think about that until his is paid off...

.........so I took it upon myself to put it for sale!!.....Honestly if he didnt have so much debt I wouldn't care. But the fact that he does and he went and borrowed 22k knowing he couldnt pay it back really really bugs me.

**Update: Well I called him and told him and he said 'ok' ..didn't yell at all and we hung up. That was about an hour ago. He just called back and I figured he would be flipping out cause it had time to settle and it was actually the opposite.. He sounded really upset saying how he should have listened to me when I told him not to buy it and he made a mistake and he is sorry and that we should sell it etc.. then he went on and on saying how I probably think he is bad with money and cant take care of me and he doesnt want me to feel that way and that we will make decisions together from now on.. etc... etc...

so basically now he just made me feel like a total witch!! But I guess it had to be done because he wasn't doing anything aout it himself

He had some warning.. a few months ago I asked him to look into selling it or I would... and he said he 'would' but like normal never did cause hes a slacker!! The other day I told him I was going to put a 'for sale' sign on it... so he shouldnt be too surprised. I know i sound mean but if he really wants this truck then he needs to get a second job to help pay for it because right now I am paying for alot and can't afford to get myself ANYTHING cause of HIS bills and I just feel like he needs to learn some responsibility and self discipline

I have been such a super b*tch this week. I am pms-ing and when I do I can't handle his normal Man behaviors so I am sure by now he knows to just say OK and go with it.. He fears the wrath of JEN!!!! MUHAAAAHAA

First, I don't blame you. I would be so mad at FH!!! Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it - FH is a cheap a$$)

Make sure you have your favorite comfort food in the house or a good friend who's home to talk after the fight.

He did talk to me about it before he did it and I begged him not to.. I told him it was a really bad Idea etc and he just didnt listen. Now he keeps saying he made a mistake and should have listened to me etc.. but he does NOTHING about it. I have said either sell it or get a second job to pay for it and he has done neither. So now I am doing it myself and I am really pissed at him that i have to clean up his mess. I called him and told him all of this and he just said 'ok'.

Good for you for putting your foot down and putting it for sale. Yes, he's going to be mad but you know what? You are helping to pay his bills and honestly, it's the least he can do.
