Why can't people RSVP??????

So yesterday was my RSVP date and 65 people have NOT responded. What is so hard about putting a PRE-STAMPED envelope in the mail??? Is the mailbox too far that you can't walk to the curb???? I just don't get it

HAHA. Welcome to my world. My RSVP date was Nov 25th and I'm still missing 39 RSVP's. People don't seem to realize that you need to make seating charts and give a final headcount to the caterer.
Welp, time to start calling people and being bitchy.

I know what you are going threw. Yesterday (Dec 1st) was my rsvp dead line and I have a lot of people who did not rsvp yet either so by the end of the week fh and I are going to call the people who never sent the rsvp back. I don't get why it is so hard to put an enevlope in the mail that is already stamped. It is not right at all.

I think people really don't understand all the work that goes into planning a wedding. I don't think they mean to be malicious, they're just not thinking about us that much (I know, I know, the audacity, right? LOL) But it's true. People (especially this time of year and in this economy) get so wrapped up in their own worlds they forget to do this stuff. I know it's annoying (or at least, I'm sure I will know soon enough), but just call up the missing ones and ask for their response. It is frustrating though.

It's the mere fact that once you get it you should just send it in...the wedding is a month and a half away and I sent the invites out a month and a half ago because of the holidays coming up and what not. even if you're not coming...i won't be offended JUST SEND IT i just want to know

I'm also short like 60 RSVPs but I still have until 12/15. I had someone send me a NO, then call and say they can come now?

That's nuts! I have a similar situation. BUT she said 'she doesn't know because she gets sick from traveling'...it's FH's side though

Mine was FH's side too. One of his sisters - surprise surprise. She was worried about airfare (Ireland) and doesn't want to travel with 4 kids....etc. etc.

honestly, i don't think it matters. people just don't get it.

my rsvp date is dec 12 and we are missing sooooo many - there's no way i'm getting them all back in 2 weeks.

I have a lot of very good friends that are silly with that stuff. One of my bm threw it out once , thats why I am also setting up an rsvp on our website for people like that
