Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

I am planning on using RK bridal no frills and need to figure out the sizes myself for the BM dresses. The size chart seems totally off. One of my bms tried on the dress in the store in a size 12 and it was a little too big on her, so i figured we would go with a 10 (she is a size 4 street size), but the size chart says she would be between a 12 and 14 based on her waist (which is the largest one).

Have others used the size chart for Belsoie dresses and how accurate is it? How hard is it to take in these dresses if they are 1-2 sizes too big?

Thanks!

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

I was told by BR that they can take a dress down 5 sizes without ruining the dress.

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

My BM dresses were B2. My sister is a street size 0 and her dress was a 6. It's all relative to the largest part of your BM's body. I would def have the bridal salon measure them and recommend which size to order. They could take in a dress as much as they need to, but it's difficult to take it out. If the chart says that she would be a 12-14, then I'd just order the 12 to be safe. HTH!

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

I wore a B2 dress as a bridesmaid this summer. The size of the dress was a US 10 and a UK 12. I usually wear an 8 and sometimes a 6 (depending on the cut.) I am not that big chested though... 34B. My friend who is really skinny but has a rather large chest had to order a bigger dress then me for that reason. (She is smaller then me everywhere else though.) Hope that helps!!

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

my MOH is wearing belsoie. She tried on the sample at RK Bridal and it was a 10 I believe (mind you she is a street size 4-6) and is so slim but has a broader back/breastbone , not large in bust though. we went with the size she tried on at RK then ordered through No Frills...better to take in then not have enough fabric if too small

HTH

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

I wore B2 for my sister's wedding. I was a dress size 6-8 in normal clothes but was very upset to have to order a 12 in the dress. The only alterations I needed were to the chest and straps, so I would go by what it says.

If your a size 8 you'll need to order a 10 - 1 size up

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

My girls used Belsoie, it seemed that the sizes were really off. One of my BMs usually wears a street size 2 and they ordered her a 10 in the dress. They do alter quite easily though.

I'm not sure what color your thinking of but their Hunter Green is absolutly gorgeous in person!

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

Thanks everyone- the issue is that the sample size in the store fit one of mygirls perfectly (size 12) but the size chart says size 14 based on her measurements. what should i go with??

Was the sizing chart accurate for those who used it?

Re: Anyone use belsoie or B2 BM dresses?

My BMs are getting Belsoie at RK but not getting fitted until this Sun. I would probably still get a size 12 bc who knows, those dresses have been tried on so many times, it's hard to know if they stretched.

I had the belsoie dresses , and they were not true to size, everyone needed the size up from their street size. Only one girl needed the dress to be taken in , and she was a size 4 who went to a size 0 by the time her dress came in.

The size 12 dress that your BM tried on is a sample size that could be stretched out due to other people trying the dress on. I would have her order according to her measurements and if it is a little big it is easier to alter then too small
