House Hunting!

Hi ladies, sorry I've been ***, I missed you all..... So hubby and I are house hunting. We live in Bayside, Queens right now but we're not sure of we should stay there or move back to Nassau County. We love the North Shore Bayside to Port Washington area but I'm not sure if we should raise a family there. Does anyone have any recommendations on where we should look for a house. We want to make sure it has good schools and not too isolated.

THANKS

Re: House Hunting!

there is a house for sale in seaford (where I grew up) and had we not bought a place 6 months ago, I think we would have jumped on it.

Here is the mls number. It is totally updated and in a great town with a great SD!

Re: House Hunting!

I grew up in Wantagh and then lived in Massapequa for a few years - I love that area. Anywhere from Massapequa to Merrick I think is a great area. Not too expensive and the schools are good, not a lot of crime -- close to everything ....

Re: House Hunting!

We're house hunting too - we just put in a bid (as high as we can go!) in Massapequa and the owner is going to 'sleep on it'

Karin - that Seaford house is gorgeous, just a little bit out of our price range

Re: House Hunting!

Do you want to stay on the north shore? Little Neck, Douglaston and Great Neck are really nice.

Good Luck to you.

Re: House Hunting!

From bayside to port washington are beautifula areas! I don't think you can honestly go wrong and the school districts are great. The only think about Port Washington that I don't like is that it's far from the parkways. Otherwise its a great area
