trying to figure out which date to send invites out

I am not getting married until Feb 7 of next year...should I send the invites out in October or November? I put the rsvp date as January 5th....thanks

I would send them a week before thanksgiving to beat the holiday/year end rush.

THat sounds good - even a smiggen earlier so that people who have hectic schedules that time of year can get a change to read it, respond, and then let you know the deal instead of forgetting about it until after the holidays! Give them that whole week before Thanksgiving week to let it sink in and hopefully send it out!

usually I would say 1 month before the rsvp date...but since the holidays are hectic...before thanksgiving might be better...

We had a 1/2 rsvp date to respond to this year...and at the last second...I remembered to send it...

I agree with a week, even 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. People are really in their Holiday groove and you want them to take notice

I would also bump up the RSVP date b/c during the Holidays, you are more likely to have late repliers. JMO

I think right before Thanksgiving also. A lot of people start their Christmas cards right after Thanksgiving...you'll want to beat that.
