Didnt use them. $40 seems like a lot but if you hate to like envelopes, it may be worth it.
We had to have a big assembly line to stuff our invites anyway so using a sponge to close them was no big deal.

I also used the sponge for wedding invites.
I did use self-sticking envelopes for my son's Christening and they worked out fine.

I didn't get them. For $1.50 you can buy a white glue stick in CVS that's easy to use & doesn't make a mess. They looked fine & stayed very nicely ... I asked everyone after they got them!
