Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil and/or train?
Do you think it will be really hard to turn and sit and stuff?

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

I think I want a cathedral veil, but Ill be detaching it before I have to sit anywhere. I had one on while trying on dresses and they are really light, no problems moving, or turning, except maybe a complete 180.

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

I am definatly wearing a cathedral length train and veil.

When I tried the dress on with the veil (I was bridal dress shopping) I did just about everything in the store. My mom thought I was nuts. I danced, sat, walked, hugged and waved at people.

This was only the sample items but I wanted to get a feel for it and see if anything would bother me.

I had no problems whatsoever in the store and in a dress that wasnt even my size

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

Thanks for the tips. Wasn't too sure about getting such a long veil and train, but it looks so pretty.

Are yours detatchable? or do you have to bustle it?

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

the blusher is what goes over your face @ the church... mine aren't detachable... we thought it best to put the blusher & cathedral on one comb, and the dual fingertips on a second comb! it'll be nervewracking trying to get the comb out & in w/o wrecking my hair, but i have faith that my hair lady will make sure my hair isn't going anywhere!

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

Wow. that is a great idea. I'm sure that with some help you should be fine pulling out the comb.

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

I was thinking that it would probably look nice in the pictures after the church. I can't imagine trying to get around without tripping over myself after that.
I would probably take it off before going to the reception.

Re: Is anyone wearing a cathedral length veil?

Well... since FH & I are NOT going to the cocktail hour, it's not going to be much of a problem..... We are going to be sitting in the bridal suite for most of the time until it's time for us to be announced - So that makes it a lot easier for me!!!
