hair and makeup at salon (not home) in nassau county?

after a long chat with my mom, it looks like going to a salon for hair and makeup will work out better for us. anyone have any suggestions in nassau county? thanks!

I am getting my hair/makeup done at Nubest in Manhasset for surprisingly VERY affordable price- much lower than I was quoted at a few other places.

I used Solo in Syosset, but everyone I use from there has since moved to ID also in Syosset. Tehy did ag reat job on both hair and make-up, for me, my mom, and my 6 BMs

fox & co. on covert avenue in stewart manor..
my sister used them and they did great work

Maximus in Merrick was great for hair. I used Karen. Didn't use them for makeup...sorry.
