Day from Hell...Marriage LicensE (long BUT WITH A PIC LOL)

Well Its been a LONG day...My first advise would be if you are going to be getting up early to do some important paper work matter...DONT GO OUT the night before for Drinks... LOL
I woke up feeling crappy but I was excited that we were going to get our license today...So we left without eating bad mistake, but anyways we drove to the queens court house...took about 30 min looking forparking...but when we get there a long huge line....Well after waiting on line for almost an hr, the guard comes out and tells us the Computers are down So if we wanted to we could go to any of the other boroughs...I felt sooooo bad for these girls that were there that were getting married..ONE in a White GOWN..and her fh in a Tux...but anyways we Leave...Of course I call Curly2003 to find out where in LI i can go and of course she posted here to ask u girls..Thank U..But we ended up going to the BRONX..with traffic and stopping for a bite it took us 2 hrs..YUCK..But finally we get there..and it wasnt that Bad..Just had a Problem with our new last Names....We wanted to combine our last name to create a new one...ALVATORRE..at first they told me I couldnt do that..That I either had to take his or keep mine or hyphenate...anyways after speaking to a FEW other LAZY A$$ city employees we were able to do it...FINALLY...I HATE THE WAY THE CITY TREATS PEOPLE WHO R EITHER GETTING MARRIED AT CITY HALL OR GETTING THEIR LICENSE..LIKE ITS NOT IMPORTANT!!!!

It was a longgggggg day and in the end it was worth it!! Cute pic! And I think it's awsome you combined your names!!!!!!!!!

I love the idea that you guys are taking each other's names and combining them! My friend did they (they hypenated it though). I think it's really sweet and respects both families. I am not going to do that though, my last name is kinda funny and while I like it, FH is like 'no way'. Hee.
