favor distribution/place cards ... question

I'm going to be giving out this wine stopper as a favor. I was planning on one per couple and one for each single person. I was thinking about tieing a card onto each one with a personalized ribbon and having that be the place card and having them all arranged on a table when guests walk in. How did everyone else distribute their favors?

I just want to make sure everyone gets one, and I didn't think I should leave them on the table because people may think that each person gets one and then some would be without. How do you do this?

I think that you have the right idea. I was thinking of doing place card frames so that each couple gets on and each single person gets one and you don't have to worry about people taking two... hate to say that about family, but there's always one int he crowd.

Personalized ribbon or place card attached is definitely the way to go!

I think your idea of attaching the placecard to the favor, would work very well.

btw - I just got back from this paper place on 110 - Pick Wick - they have lots of great paper. I'm hoping to make some interesting placecards with unique paper and they've got lots!

I like the idea of the name tags. You could also towards the end hand pass them out?

BTW - what is near the paper place on 110, so I know where I am going

The paper place is in farmingdale, as you are heading south on 110 it is on the right passed the driving range and I think passed a furniture store too.

They have stuff for invites (which I wish I had the patience to make myself), and all sorts of stationary, envelopes, cardstock and unique papers.
