The most delicious clam dip I've ever had...
I got this recipe a few years back...I was at a friend of a friend's house and just kept eating this appetizer and at the time had NO IDEA what it was...I just knew it was scrumptious. Then, I found out it was clam dip...I don't even like clams!!!
But, ladies, I've been told that this tastes just like baked clams (still to this day I won't eat baked clams...but I will eat this dip).
Trust me...it's delicious!!! And, I'm posting it now because a girlfrined just had me email it to her...
Clam Dip 1 small onion 1/4 pound butter melted 2 6 1/2 oz cans minced claims with liquid 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 lb mozzarella cheese shredded 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
Mix all ingredients except the cheese. Put in baking dish and put the shredded cheese on top. Bake at 350 until the layer of cheese is melted and browned.

I usually just eat it with crackers...my favorite are Ritz...but I'd suggest any cracker you like or bread or you'll see when you try it what else you may like it with.

Allure...your family is going to love it...Thanksgiving Eve will always be at your house!!!
I also just wanted to say...I make this in a Pyrex baking dish...the 9" or 8" round pie dish. It fits in there perfectly!
