For those who did or are doing framed photos of family...
Did you only use couples/wedding photos or did you use old family photos as well?I need to put out a lot of photos, but I don't have many family wedding shots. Will it look stupid if the photos aren't wedding related?

I don't think soo.. would it be too much to ask some of your family members or close friends for a wedding pic of them?

I'm doing framed photos, if I couldn't find a wedding photo I just used a couple photo.Perhaps you could get more photos from friends.
I personally love old photos and think they will look fine - it's kind of like having those people there with you to share the day even if they are not around any more.

I don't think it would be stupid at all if they're not all wedding related. I think Marcella's suggestion is a great one - perhaps you could ask for some photos...even if you had to photocopy them if some people didn't want to part with a photo for some reason. Or you could photograph the photograph, upload it to the 'puter and print it on photo paper. (I did that for the invites for my FHs surprise 30th party and it came out really well - was a b&w photo.)I'm doing the wedding photos too - for the CH...

sounds like a great idea..if people dont want to part with their photo you can take it to the kodak picture maker and have a copy made of it

Where did you ladies find inexpensive frames. I wanted to do this as table decorations for my coctail party.

I put out a TON of pics of FH (from childhood thru college and after) for his 30th party and found a bunch inexpensive wood of frames at Michael's - the rest I just snuck out of the apartment a little here & there
Ugh, long story short - Michael's is a good place.
