My August 16th wedding review (finally)
This is a belated review.....sorry. All month long during August I was so worried it was going to rain, I didn't realize there could be a bigger problem...the blackout! Yikes, less than 48 hours before my wedding, I was freaking out, luckily, power was up and running and the sun was shining when I woke up. The day was beautiful, our wedding was everything I hoped for and I married the man of my dreams.Miller Place Inn - A++++++++++
The place is gorgeous, the food was delicious, the staff was great, my bridal attendant was by my side and all 8 of my bridesmaids sides all day long.
The viennese was a hit and everyone LOVED everything about it. My cake was exactly what I asked for, I showed them a picture and said I want it just like this except square and it was perfect!
Just for the Record DJ - A++++++
I had Danny as my M.C. he was the BEST MC ever. He was funny, he remembered everyone's names, he played all of my songs on my list and he even made us a cd with all of my requested songs. I think he was the most raved about vendor besides the Miller Place Inn by my family and friends.
Park Avenue Studios- ? waiting for proofs.
I used Brian as the main photographer who is funny and easy to work with and I used Mike as the B&W photojournalistic photographer also a nice man. John was our videographer- he was unobtrusive and they all worked as a team.
M&V Limos- F and B
First, I've heard good and I've heard bad, and unfortunately I have good and bad reviews.
Rolls Bentley - F
Do not, I repeat do not use the Bentley in the Summer, there is no A/C in the car, it blows hot hair, not cold air. The A**hole driver called me 2 hours before my wedding to get directions!! He should have done that prior to the wedding day. His name was Bernard - request not to use Bernard, I don't know if it was his age or what, but he didn't open doors, didn't help at the church and missed the turn on the way to the reception.
B - 14 passengar Cadillac CTS was clean, the driver was friendly and helpful.

Re: My August 16th wedding review (finally)
Burton's - AOn time, flowers were beautiful, centerpieces were more beautiful then I imagined, they decorated my cake so beautifully too. Price was right!
Paradise Bridal in Patchogue- C
There is no coordination at this place. I found my dress elsewhere soooo much cheaper, but of course too late. The 1st seamstress I hated, 2nd seamstress was much better. I think all bridal salons have their problems though.
Jacqueline Nicole - A+++++
She was on time, friendly and most importantly I looked beautiful (IMO). The airbrushing lasted all day and all night long despite the fact it was about 90 degrees.
Intrigue Salon in Bellport Village - A+++
My hairdresser used a hairpiece in my hair and it looked like it was my own hair, it was amazing and came out just how I wanted it to.
Rehearsal Dinner at Polini's in Nesconset -A++
The food is delicious here and the staff was very friendly.
St. James Episcopal Church - A+++++
Father Bartolomeo is a wonderful man, friendly, caring and funny. I didn't have my florist provide flowers for the church to save some money, but when I got to the ceremony there were 2 large arrangements of flowers on the alters! A few of the women that belong to the church picked flowers from their own gardens and made these arrangements! How sweet is that!
John Chiappone Pianist - A++
Very classy for the cocktail hour. Great music.
After Hours Tuxedoes- A+
Tuxes were in great condition, no problems.
Veteran's Press for invitations - A+++
Perfect!!!!
Choconet - A+++
I used this company for my gold foil wrapped chocolate covered 'Oscars' which I used with my placecards. They were perfect and delicious.
Honeymoon in Hawaii A++++++++++++++++++++++++

M&V brides, I do want to mention that one of my BMs used them for her wedding 3 weeks after me and they were perfect. Cars and drivers for her wedding get an A+++.
