Barn/Cottage Wedding Venue

I am looking for a barn or cottage feeling wedding venue. I really liked the low key feel of the old field club but the 130 pp ++ is a little over my budget. Any other suggestions for this type of venue. I have appointments to look at Three village Inn and Thatched Cottage. I saw the Irish Coffee Pub, but wasn't too thrilled with the pictures from the website.

Also, I would like to be out in Suffolk County to keep it out of town for the Nassau folks.

Any suggestions will definitely help.

By the way, we really loved the Inn @ New Hyde Park, but it was too close to our house for our tastes.

Barn/Cottage Wedding Venue

i loved thatched cottage, food was great the staff were nice and the price was good i got a range of 115-125. they also have the cottage at east wind.... I have only seen it from driving past it frequently and i think it's all inclusive. and i'm pretty sure at Martha Clara vineyards you actually have the wedding reception inside of what once used to be a barn

I went to a wedding at the Inn in NHP and it was AMAZING!! The food was off the charts and the service was outstanding! From what I could see there were no flaws!

Barn/Cottage Wedding Venue

I'm getting married at Three Village Inn in October. I love the rustic feel of it.
I lived that it didn't have a wedding place feel. Let me know how your visit goes.

Check out West Sayville. I LOVED Old Field Club too but it was way outta my price range. West Sayville is the perfect amount and the pp price is inclusive of tax and service charge so you have a better handle on what you're paying.

Milleridge Cottage is nice too, similar to thatched cottage and a few of the others- It is in Hicksville/Jericho, so not in suffolk, but still an option!

Re: Barn/Cottage Wedding Venue

Check out the Miller Place Inn. It def has that rustic feeling and will be within your price range. They have an all inclusive option also.

Good Luck!

THIS! Its a mansion so its not really like the barn/cottage feel.. but its not an opulent mansion that has a stuffy feel! Its right next to the maritime museum! I love it!!!

Also... my FSIL is looking at the queens county museum farm and its not too expensive.

How many people are you looking to have?

Re: Barn/Cottage Wedding Venue

I actually went to a wedding at the irish coffee pub and it was awesome!! :) definitely worth the look!!! try a vineyard- however, that may be way over your budget because i know some site fees are like 15k alone...
i would also try any country clubs- maybe try willow creek?

:) good luck!!!
