Castle Money Card Box

Ok...so looked long and hard to find a box that was more suited to my theme (A Royal Union between King James and Princess Diana) but it's $75! Is that not ridiculous? What do you think of it? Is it cheesy or cute?!?!

Re: Castle Money Card Box

My friend had that at her wedding. She did a disney princess theme. It's worth it if that's something you want and can use even after the wedding. She made it a memory box of her and her new husband's life together as husband and wife. Just an idea.

Re: Castle Money Card Box

I think it's cute. It will be too much though if you are ahving an elaborate or castle-theme cake as well. I als think if you really like it, it's not THAT expensive. I saw a plain cardbox at AC Moore for $46 and this one is way more elaborate

Re: Castle Money Card Box

I agree with everything said...I have to think about it...my friend suggested I email them and give them my best offer for it, ahahaha, she said 'why not? what do you have to lose?' I am not going crazy with the castle theme...our unity candle holder is a castle, the cake is going to be more elegant and traditional, etc...this would only serve as an accent to the theme...the other 'themed' items would be our family crest that we are displaying in a 36x24 frame in the entrance with the placecards and I am still looking for a way to print it on matchboxes or something for the reception, and my tiara. LOL.

Re: Castle Money Card Box

Its cute but i think that is kind of on the expensive side. Although there are card boxes that I saw online that were $100 or more...so I guess it just depends on how much you want to spend and if it fits in your budget.

Re: Castle Money Card Box

You could just get a really pretty music box or ceramic box in the castle shape and put it on top of a hat box with a slot in it for a similar effect. Then you'd still have the figurine itself after the wedding as a keepsake.
